OK for racing! Suits 50cc Yamaha and Suzuki 2-stroke scooters. Also fits most Yamaha 2T 80cc, 90cc and 100cc and clones. This clutch spring is the third of 4 upgrade options - good for medium to hard tuned engines that need to run high RPM and are on and off the throttle a lot. This can be used to stop bogging of the clutch on tuned engines, reduce belt slip, and also helps keep RPM higher during acceleration by slowing the rate that the variator moves the belt. Additionally it improves "re-acceleration", the characteristic which means the transmission is in a lower gear after slowing down and then reapplying the throttle.
