Special price, only while stocks last! The Type III pulley kit is an advanced performance variator kit from Japanese tuning parts manufacturer Kitaco. As the name suggests, this is designed for pure acceleration and hill climbing power - might give you a little more speed at top end too though. Designed and made in Japan.
The computer designed, high quality alloy pulley and ramp plate give optimum transmission shift points and increased power transmission. Strong linear acceleration from off the line.
Kit includes:
Pulley sheave (variator) face
Special grease
Fixed (driven) face with fan
This pulley improves low down acceleration and hill climbing ability if the weight roller setting is correct. In most cases it will work ok with standard weight rollers, but for optimum performance you may need lighter rollers (available on this online shop). It replaces the standard unit on Yamaha / clone 2 stroke 50cc scooters including:
Adly SF-50 Silver Fox, GTC-50 Gatecrasher, GTA-50
Yamaha Vox, Jog DX, ZR (4 stroke 50cc)
And many other Yamahas, please see "Description" tab at the bottom for more detailed info on models this suits. Note for CV50 Jog it needs a special sleeve that we can supply free - just let us know.
Make certain that the pulley nut tightens up against the star washer and not the end of the crankshaft when installing. If you don't know what that means, get a qualified mechanic to install it.
