Fully electric model. Just plug the charger into the wall for an easy recharge. Charge at the bike, or slip the battery packs out and take them inside for charging (each weighs approx 10kg). Range is approx 80-90km in real-world mixed riding,with even higher range in E-Save mode.
The Niu smart app tells you the scooter's real time location, battery and range status and can notify you of unauthorised movement too (data charges may apply in future)
The tailored, brushless Bosch motor is hub mounted - no transmission needed. Highly advanced Field Oriented Controller for very refined acceleration, electronic braking and high efficiency.
Comes with a Givi topbox for storage needs.
